Hey y’all! I’m Shae, and welcome to my world.

I grew up in Monroe County, Arkansas—the heart of the Delta—right smack between Little Rock and Memphis. My younger days were spent running gravel roads on four-wheelers, riding horses, swimming in rice field levees, and doing just about everything country kids grow up doing. My mom was a nurse, my dad a truck driver, so nothing was handed to me—but I was deeply loved and taught the value of hard work.

Now, I’m the wife of a diesel mechanic, a proud boy mom, dog mom, and still just your basic girl from the South. I love to cook and start way too many DIY projects that I never quite finish.

Life hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve survived—and that’s exactly why I started this blog. This space is for sharing my stories, my truths, and reminding others that sometimes it’s okay to not be okay.

Here, I’ll be sharing real-life experiences, some of my favorite recipes and crafts, and what it’s really like to navigate anxiety and everyday life. We all have struggles, and no one is ever truly alone.

So stay tuned. Sit back, and enjoy this quietly chaotic life of mine.

XOXO,
Shae
